"The gift baskets just fit right in with that, and after I retired, I wanted something to do. That's when I thought of starting the business. I've been interested in gift baskets for a long time, and at one point thought about making them."

"The product is very important," explains Carole, who is focused on quality. "I did a lot of checking, a lot of looking into baskets. I wanted them to be fairly good quality, and I wanted them to be attractive; in other words, I didn't just go and pick any old supplier. I did quite a bit of homework on suppliers. I wanted to make sure there was good timing as far as orders and delivery."

Carole has stayed focused on her customers, providing them with the best items and support. She has also provided them with her blog at www.YourGiftBasketSolutions.net, detailing product information and upcoming offers. "Blogs are new to me, but I hope to get a conversation going with people as far as answering questions or any suggestions. I am adding new products, and will be adding more in the future. We may branch out and add different things for gift items than just baskets. Everything will be connected -- what we may do is add things that people can order with the baskets, such as gift cards or jewelry."

This level of customer service is vitally important to Carole. "Customer service has always been my number one complaint about stores. I worked in customer service for many years, and I just don't understand how there is no customer service now whatsoever, anywhere you go. That's my number one -- that a customer gets what they want, when they want it. I'd do anything to make sure that happens."
